Underdog! Rescue was founded in March 2010 by the former director of the Flathead County Animal Shelter in Kalispell, MT. Inheriting a high-kill municipal shelter with a reputation for being the last stop for the valley's unwanted pets, a small group of volunteers and employees turned it into a safe haven full of love and second chances virtually overnight. Underdog! was founded to continue working towards a No-Kill Montana, a goal that might have seemed unattainable just a few years ago. We invite you to help make Montana the Last Best Place to be a Homeless Pet

MISSION STATEMENT

Underdog! Rescue places homeless dogs and cats with special needs in forever homes throughout Northwest Montana and surrounding areas. We support the No-Kill philosophy, providing resources and training to shelters to make Montana a safe place for all homeless pets.
