OWNER TURN IN: Rosie hasn't had the best life. You can see it in her face. She was used for breeding purposes and came into rescue with an infection in her uterus. She is now spayed, feeling better and getting a little spunk back. Rosie is a gentle soul that would love nothing more than a warm place to sleep at night and a spot of the floor to soak up the sun during the day. Please consider providing a retirement home for this sweet girl.

OWNER TURN IN: Millie was turned over to rescue as the owners were no longer able to keep her. She was kept strictly for breeding purposes and is now spayed and looking for a life of leisure as a dog! She has a very sweet disposition and eyes that cry out for a family of her own. She deserves so much more than the life she has had. Please consider giving Millie a home to live out her "Golden Years".

Ramble arrived at SMAR with a lot to say! He kinda "talks" like a hound, but dosen't exactly look like one. Any guesses on breeds out there? Ramble needs a home without cats and a securely fenced yard. He can be picky about his choice in other dogs, so a meet and greet would be best. Please consider this guy if you are looking for a running or hiking partner!

OWNER TURN IN: Amore is a nice little dog that found herself dealing with motherhood at a young age. (See pups 0036-0043) Now that her pups are weaned she is hoping for some pampering and TLC! She, like her pups prefer the country life, a working home might suit her well. GWD,GWK not GWC.

This beautiful little gal was found running the streets dodging traffic. We know there is a better home out there for her! She is a bit on the shy side and would do best with a family that can give her proper socialization. Malaiya likes other dogs, but will chase cats.

This handsome guy was found wandering on a cold winter day. Due to his short coat and light skin he will need to be primarily an indoor dog. He will need a fenced yard to burn off his energy and his strong desire to chew. Magoo is a very nice dog and loves to play with toys. This sweet and loving boy is looking for a home with owners that have experience with his breed. Mature & responsible adults need only to apply. Good with most dogs, Not GWC.

OWNER TURN IN: It is now July 2008 and Ling Ling has been in rescue since she was a small pup. This sweet little girl is on the small side for her breed mix (about 40#). She is a loving little cuddle bug that really needs a home and a family to love her! GWD, GWK, uses a dog door.

OWNER TURN IN: Kitt was turned in with his sister, who has since been adopted. He is a friendly, high energy dog that loves to play with other dogs. Due to his energy level he will do best with older children. He would be a great hiking or camping partner this summer. Not GWC.

OWNER TURN IN: Zip is a very stubborn fella! He needs firm discipline to gain his respect. He is very devoted to the people he attaches to. Good with other dogs of all ages. Zip is not good with children.Walks well on a leash and is learning his commands.

Hunter was one of the several hounds dumped in this area in the middle of the night . It is unknown why he was dumped, but we do know that he is hound through and through! Hunter would do best in a home where he could work using his nose and his voice! All hound lovers please inquire about this beautiful guy!

Sage is a small and sassy little dog! She loves riding in cars and knows how to use a dog door. Sage will do best in a home with an owner that wants an active dog and has a fenced yard. She will need a 'meet and greet' with other family dogs. Not GWC.

OWNER TURN IN: This little gal is a high energy girl! She is very athletic and agile. With some obedience training, she would make a wonderful agility dog! Freckles is a medium size dog (about 40#). GWD, GW older children due to her energy, uses a dog door.
