None of the neighbors knew who he belonged to. So here he is. He is very friendly and people oriented, just a tad bit overwhelmed at the moment. He is a lovely, well-nourished cat.

OWNER TURN IN: Tega (or Tiggy) is another cat whose people moved and she didn't get to go. She is an entertaining cat with a lot of spunk. And we like spunky cats. She has a kind of boxy build which suits her well. She will pretty much do head-stands to get your attention.

[Picture] 7/28/2007   [07-PP109C]   Copper
DMH,  buff,  Male neutered,  2 Yr
STRAY: Front Street, Anaconda
Copper's name should actually, more accurately, be Professor Marvel. He has a great presence, is a showman and has handlebar whiskers just like the character in the Wizard of Oz. Even though he was hanging out with the lady cats on Front Street, he is not a bit wild and, as soon as he is neutered, will make a great companion.

Siamese X,  flame point,  Male neutered,  7 Mo
STRAY: Front St.
Comet was trapped at a cat colony when he was just 6 to 8 weeks old. He has grown up at the shelter and is not totally at ease with humans. Perhaps, in a home he would learn to trust his familt. He certainly is a pretty cat with his flamepoint coloring and pale blue eyes. Adoption pending.

DSH - bi-color,  white with gray,  Female spayed,  5 Mo
ABANDONED: Lost Creek
Abandoned when their owner died. Patchouli, this soft little gray and white imp, is all sweet, and fragrant and complex, and warm. She will have you (old hippies maybe) wistful remembering days of tie dye, hot tea, and incense. A perfect kitten for the crisp fall weather.
[Picture] 7/16/2007   [07-PP099C]   Cosmo
DLH,  brown tabby,  Male neutered,  7 weeks
STRAY: Front St., Anaconda
Cosmo was trapped in a live trap at a cat colony we are trying to trap-neuter-release, or in Cosmo's case, tame him enough to be a house cat. When trapped he was about 6-8 weeks. he is just such a little fluff ball and a sweetie, but just scared which is understandable. Other young kittens we have trapped in this area have gone on to be beautiful tame cats.

[Picture] 6/11/2007   [07-PP074C]   Carly
DSH,  gray/white,  Female spayed,  10 Mo
ABANDONED:
Carly and three other cats were found when we came to open the shelter one rainy morning. Someone had taped two boxes closed with two adult cats in each box. They left a note asking us to take care of their cats, since they couldn't. Carly is the most outgoing one and is very beautiful. After being treated for ear mites and tapeworms initially, she is looking better than ever. Her colors are beautiful.
[Picture] 6/11/2007   [07-PP088C]   Spencer
DMH,  orange/white,  Male neutered,  1 Yr
ABANDONED: Front doorstep of Pintler Pets
Spencer and three other cats were put in two cardboard boxes and the boxes were taped shut. Someone left them on Pintler's doorstep in the middle of a rainy night where a shelter worker found them in the morning. A note said "please take good care of our cats". They arrived with ear mites and tape worms (all gone now), so obviously the people that left them couldn't take care of them properly. Too bad they felt that they had to abandon them in the manner that they did. The cats are a bit traumatized right now, but they will come around with time and love. Spencer has a slight eye infection that would clear up a lot quicker in a quiet home where he would get individual attention. He is traumatized at the shelter but is such s sweet kitty. We are looking for someone's sympathy vote for Spencer; someone who wants to mother him back to health and well-being. He really is a sweet cat who will repay you by blooming where ever he is planted.

DLH,  tabby/white,  Female spayed,  Young Adult
ABANDONED: Front doorstep at Pintler Pets
Sally and three other cats were put in two cardboard boxes and the boxes were taped shut. Sally is a beautiful long-haired tabby and white cat with owl-like eyes. She is a bit more outgoing than the others.

[Picture] 3/5/2007   [07-PP033C]   Spatz
DSH,  brown tabby,  Female spayed,  1 Yr
OWNER TURN IN: Spatz originally came in with the name "Spaz", but never has there been a more inappropriate name. She is a beautiful, sleek, regal kitty; the epitome of grace. Perhaps her new owner should remname her "Bastet" after the Egyptian cat goddess. She is quite and reserved and anxiously awaits "Ra" the sun god in the morning light. She has always been an indorr kitty. Her owner moved to a "no pets" apartment. In foster care, please call the shelter if you are interested.
[Picture] 3/1/2007   [07-PP031C]   Maggie May
DSH,  black,  Female spayed,  6 yrs.
OWNER TURN IN: Maggie May loves to observe our cat room from her little boudoir in the cat tree. She is rather reserved at present because she is new here, but she loves to have someone visit and pay her some attention. At six years old, she is in the prime of her life. Reason for owner surrender "don't want anymore".

DLH,  black; declawed,  Male neutered,  Adult
STRAY:
Big D was caught in a live trap with another full sized cat. They must have been very hungry to go in together. We are still trying to make friends with Big D, but he will relax with time. Update: Big D was so cranky when he came in that we couldn't tell if he had been neutered or not. Now that he has settled down, we found out not only is he already neutered, but he is also declawed!

OWNER TURN IN: Stumpy wants to be loved but is very shy. He makes up for it by his good looks. He has a cute 3/4 length tail. Stumpy is Blarney's kitten even though they don't look at all alike. DSH,  black,  Female spayed,  Young Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Cher and her 8 little carbon copies were surrendered by their owner when the kittens were 3-weeks old. We love all of these wonderful kitties (all black!) but boy do we wish Cher had been spayed before this happened. Cher has been a wonderful Mom and deserves to settle into a home of her own. She is loving but is very polite and unobtrusive. All will have to be spayed and neutered before they leave us so this doesn't happen again! Cher's spay was sponsored by her Guardian Angel.
