[Picture] 9/14/2015   [GA799-4]   Bear
DSH,  black,  Male neutered,  Older Adult
ABANDONED:
Bear is a 16 year old black, feral kitty that has lived with us since he was a kitten. His mother and two litter mates came in together. Momma Muff never tamed and Bear has remained very reserved. He is ok with our staff and occasionally we can even pet him, but if someone he does not know comes around, you will not even know he's there. He has had a good life and is satisfied and comfortable living with us at the orphanage. He would probably not adjust to a new environment and we have committed to taking care of him for the duration of his life. DOB 1999
[Picture] 12/29/2014   [MG203-4]   Missy
DSH,  gray tabby,  Female spayed,  Older Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Missy came to KK as an infant and was a bottle fed baby along with her 3 siblings. She was adopted 11 years ago and had a wonderful home, until her person passed away and there was no one to take her in and she had to come back to KK. She has adapted relatively well and is a friendly and loving lady, she is terribly confused as to why she ended up back in the orphanage and would love to join your family for the remainder of her years. DOB February 2003 ADOPTION AND SPONSOR DONATIONS help pay for emergency vet bills, shots, worming, spaying/neutering, food, shelter and monthly prevention. Some animals require more money and time from sicknesses or some are unadoptable and need care for life. The Sanctuary needs all the donations an animal is able to bring in as the money is used for ALL the animals to provide the above services. While vet care is provided at reduced rates thanks to generous vets that work with us, it still is expensive!
[Picture] 9/10/2013   [KK6707-2]   Midnight
DSH,  black,  Female spayed,  Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Midnight is a 6 year old, spayed, domestic short-haired black cat who was born at KK. She was adopted in 2007 and lived in her own furrever home, with kids, adults, dogs and got along great even in a very hectic lifestyle. Due to a recent addition in the family with cat allergies, poor Midnight also had to come back to KK. She is very unhappy and it is beginning to show in her health. This coming back to an orphanage (or going into an orphanage after having a home) is very difficult and confusing to an animal. Many develop medical issues as a result of the stress. They always resolve themselves once they are in a loving home and with a round or so of antibiotics. DOB 5/10/07 ADOPTION AND SPONSOR DONATIONS help pay for emergency vet bills, shots, worming, spaying/neutering, food, shelter and monthly prevention. Some animals require more money and time from sicknesses or some are unadoptable and need care for life. [Picture] 11/4/2010   [PB4509-6]   Morgan
DSH,  gray tabby,  Male neutered,  Adult
ABANDONED:
Morgan is a wonderful, independent fellow. He is an incredible love and would make someone a purrfect new family member. Morgan has spent his entire life in the sanctuary and would make a welcome and loving addition to any family. DOB 2004 ADOPTION AND SPONSOR DONATIONS help pay for emergency vet bills, shots, worming, spaying/ neutering, food, shelter and monthly prevention. [Picture] 2/16/2010   [CS1203-1]   RJ
DSH,  black,  Male neutered,  Older Adult
OWNER TURN IN: Are you tired of brushing your hair everyday? Would you like to free up your hand so you could hold something else, like a pen, a cell phone, or a $1000, instead of your boring hair brush? Do you sometimes miss the back of your head when trying to brush your own hair? Do you like looking fabulous? If you can answer "yes" to any of these questions, then R.J. is the cat for you. R.J. is a super friendly kitty who likes to sit where he can reach the back of your hair and then he'll gently "brush" it out with his paws. Spending time in the company of people is what R.J. truly loves. "I can live without many things but I can not survive without human affection and cat food", R.J. commented. "A home to call my own with a loving guardian would be my dream come true. I'm already fixed, have my vaccinations, and I can do a pawsome people hair-do! I'd make someone a wonderful companion." I couldn't agree more R.J.
