Funding

Funding for Heart of the Valley, Inc., a 501(C)(3) not for profit corporation, comes primarily from private individual and business contributions, four yearly fund-raising events, a quarterly newsletter and various smaller fund-raising efforts including Animal Banks in local businesses and Recycle for the Animals.

HOV receives approximately $30,000 each year in grants from private foundations. We are a member of Montana Shares, a federation of Montana based non-profit organizations and a vehicle for workplace giving through payroll deduction.

We also contract with the City of Bozeman and Gallatin County to shelter stray animals impounded by animal control.

Our annual budget is approximately $700,000.

If you would like to sign up a friend as a gift, please give us the relevant information below.
