Bitter Root Humane Association in Hamilton is a private non-profit adoption facility that is open-admission accepting all displaced animals in transition; owner surrender, abandoned, or stray animals. BRHA is a no time limit, no space limit adoption facility with enrichment and training programs designed to enhance the lives of the animals staying with us until adoption.

Montana Companion Animal Network, Inc in Corvallis is a transitional home for dogs, taking in adoptable dogs from other rescues and shelters in need of placement due to a lack of space and time. In working with the community, we help place privately owned pets as well. DGA is supported by Montana Companion Animal Network, a private non-profit.
