He loves everyone including kids and other dogs. But he doesn't enjoy cats' company. Previous owning experience is a plus with Red. But he's a lover and can't wait to find a partner in crime!

She doesn't get along with men as well as she does with women. She loves to chew on everything, but bones and toys do the trick. Her old home wasn't the right fit. She's looking for one that is!

But anyone 12 years and older she gets along with great. A quiet and shy girl, Shelby could use a great home. Once she warms up, Shelby is quite the lover. She loves being pet and could use an owner to show her patience and affection.

A very shy guy, Odie needs a kind and patient owner to help bring him out of his shell. A sweety of a dog, Odie was found in the Skalkaho area. He doesn't like strangers. But he gets along well with other dogs. This quiet boy needs some love and attention from an fairly experienced dog owner. Odie is the perfect dog for some quality quiet one on one time.

She likes playing with big dogs and kids, taking long rides in the car and she gets along with everyone. She is best suited for a home without small dogs or cats because she doesn't get along with them very well. This lover could use some loving of her own.

Milla needs the horse equivalent of milk shakes and cheeseburgers, but once she's ready to ride, you'll find Milla is already trained. She's a sweet girl who deserves a good life with a little pampering. Ready to ride??

Since Freda was a stray, we don't know much about her except, she can jump straight up! (I think that means she needs a good fence, don't you?) Freda does have a lot of energy and would be good for someone who is a hiker or runner. She needs some training and could take a few lessons from Miss Manners. BUT, if you want a fun loving dog who loves life, Freda's for you!

A'Dorah is having a bad month. She got separated from her owners, came to BRHA, and no one has come looking for her. Since she's a stray, we don't know much about A'Dorah except she LOVES to PLAY, and is NOT good with livestock. Because she's young, A'Dorah needs a lot of exercise and someone to give her the training that all young dogs need. How about you?

OWNER TURN IN: Scarlett is 23 yrs old and was brought in because her owner could no longer care for her. She currently has laminitis, but that problem is fixable. Once she's ready, Scarlett will show you that she's a well trained girl and is even good for mountain riding. Scarlett is very sweet, good natured and just waiting for a home of her own.

OWNER TURN IN: All the dogs here say "Please adopt ME" but the look on Reba's face takes it to a new level. This girl is very friendly and sweet and likes most of the dogs here. Reba also likes family cats, but isn't too fond of strays. Because of her breed(s), this girl needs an owner with some experience. Reba really wants to please, if you will just give her a chance.

Dinah is a sweet little Pit with the cutest bark. Plus, she loves people and most dogs. But, NO CATS please!! Because of her breed, Dinah needs an owner with some experience. (She can't help it. She was just born that way.) There's not enough space to tell you want a special dog Dinah can be. You'll just have to find that out for yourself.

OWNER TURN IN: Una is a very timid girl. But once she warms up to you, she considers you to be her best friend. THEN, Una will show you what a playful and loving girl she can be. Una is ok with teenagers but doesn't like to be around kids under twelve. Una does like to run and play and is hoping to find a home where she can be pampered and loved on. How about yours?

OWNER TURN IN: Teddy Bear is a real outdoors kinda girl who wants to feel the wind in her fur. She doesn't even want to consider being one of those pampered indoor dogs. Teddy Bear was brought in because she developed a taste for the neighbors chickens. So as long as you don't have any small tasty birds, his girl can be lots of fun to have around. OWNER TURN IN: Rocky is a doggie version of a "tom boy". This girl is definitely more into playing tug-of-war, then playing dress-up. And since Rocky is older, she has no patience with younger kids anyway (or cats either for that matter). So, when you take Rocky home, remember she'd prefer sitting at (or under) the adults table.

Nemo has been at the shelter way too long for such a nice dog. He just wants to please everyone and has one thing on his mind; playing. He loves tennis balls and swimming, and not necessarily in that order. He will chase cats but with some guidance from his owners could overcome that. Please come and see Nemo today.

OWNER TURN IN: Another sad case where a family is forced to move and can't take their pets with them! Buddy is in search of a home where this will not happen again. He is a great, friendly lab cross who enjoys the company of people, although he also gets along great with other dogs. This sweet guy loves to be active and can't wait to go walking or hiking. Buddy is currently in a foster home, but is still available for adoption!
